The 5th Annual David A. Daniel Foundation Fishing Tournament was another successful event. Congratulations to our anglers who brought in some big bags of fish!

2nd: Dirk Coxon & Daniel Hinkleman (21.01lbs) and Big Fish win (7.73lbs)

3rd: David Straight & Darryl Bowers (18.03lbs)

The Alpha Gamma Rho at the University of Florida selected the David A. Daniel Foundation to be the recipient of one of their fundraiser events, Dancing with the AGRs. The AGR brothers presented our Foundation board members with over $6000 that they successfully raised! 

The 3rd annual David A. Daniel Memorial Cattle Battle was a huge success. The show had over 130 exhibitors with almost 400 entries and raised more than $7000. The event could not have happened without all the amazing volunteers! The Foundation would also like to thank all our event sponsors: Okeechobee County Junior Cattleman, Tourism Development Council, Alderman Farms and Sylvite. The David A. Daniel Foundation helped the Big O Teen Anglers put on their first Kids Day of Fishing. Over 125 kids came out to fish for the day! 

The 4th annual David A. Daniel Fishing Tournament was another successful event for the Foundation. Congrats to our anglers who came away with the wins: 1st place was Latt Durrance and Gauge Chandler with 27.56 lbs. and the big fish of 8.33 lbs. 2nd place to Darren Brown with 21.34 lbs. And 3rd place was Matt and Lane Davis with 18.03 lbs.
